Happy 4th of July Weekend 2009

TGIF. already? MY how time flies when you're having fun! During the school year the week seems to go on FOREVER and during summer vacation the days just ZOOM by. (sigh)
Today I leave to drive down to the east bay and spend two days at my son's house in Hayward. I'm taking a mosaic class at the MOSAIC INSTITUTE in Oakland on both Saturday and Sunday. My future daughter-in-law is taking the class with me. It should be fun. 10-4 on Saturday and 10-1 on Sunday. I'm planning on taking them to VAL'S which is the BEST place in the world to get hamburgers. Too bad nothing on the menu is VEGAN, but it is worth taking them there to see how happy it makes them.
The husband is working closing shift this weekend (1PM-midnight) My daughter and her fiance and my granddaughter will be going over to the other grandparent's house for a 4th of July BBQ. >I'll be back sometime on Sunday evening. Today I plan on going to the gym. I have a 6:10-7:10PM Zumba class and I plan to drive down after that. It's about a 90 minute drive. I'm hoping the traffic won't be too heavy by then. It looks rather overcast today, but I'm sure the sun will come out tomorrow. (bet your bottom dollar)
I'm wishing you all have a GREAT 4th of July weekend with family and friends. AND....don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't eat too much pie.
